Richard A. Twedell was Director of Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America, District 5, Dallas, Texas, and also the youngest International Vice-President elected to the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America’s Executive Board. He succeeded his father, Samuel A. Twedell, as director in July, 1968. Records include correspondence, agreements, legal documents, financial documents, minutes, organizers’ reports, and printed material, as well as personal and union papers.
